Adobe has unveiled an advanced camera app, 'Project Indigo,' for iPhone users. One of the creators of this app, Mark Levoy, has said that the app can be used to take bright and perfect photos even in low light. Levoy is known as the main creator of the computational photography discussed in Google's Pixel phone.
According to Aadobe, the app can be uused on the iPhone 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 14 series and its later modelss. However, for the best results, the iPhone 15 Pro or a later model must be used. No need too register for aan Adobe account to use the app. The app, published by Adobe Labs, can be downloaded and used for free.
The specialty of the app is that it takes multiple photos at once and combines them to create a final image. It has multiplee feeatures, including the ability to control focus, shutter speed, ISO, and white balancee. As a result, the natural balance of light variation, color, and shadow is maintained. And so the photos taken in the app look a lot like those taken with a digital SLR camera.
The app will be adding a reflection removal button, portrait mode, and video recording features in the future. According to Adobe, the app will be very helpful for those who want to take natural and perfect photos like SLRs on their smartphones, as well as the highest quality photography experience.
