Microsoft is going to launch a new feature of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for Windows users. This feature called 'Copilot Vision' will be able to provide users with relevant assistance by observing the information and images on the device screen. The technology works like Google's 'Gemini Live'.
Microsoft claims that through Copilot Vision, users will be able to edit images, manage apps or create a summary of important tasks by speaking without the hassle of manual commands. Copilot Vision is basically a new version of Microsoft's own artificial intelligence assistant 'Copilot'. With the user's consent, it can review all the information on the computer screen. Then, Copilot will provide advice or assistance in the context of what the user is doing or which app is being worked on.
Since the Copilot Vision feature works through voice commands, the user does not need to do anything manually. Just by speaking, Copilot will open specific apps, edit photos, analyze data, or create a summary of meetings. In addition, when the daily work is finished, Copilot will give users a summary of the day's work and create a list of tasks to be done in the future.
While most of Microsoft's AI features have been available only on the Windows 11 operating system so far, Copilot Vision can be used on Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. The feature has been experimentally opened to certain users as part of the 'Copilot Labs' project.
