The company is working on a magnetic charging system called ‘PixelSnap’ as a counter to Apple’s ‘MagSafe’ technology.
The date of Google’s ‘Made by Google’ event this year is almost here. Tha company has promised that the event will feature new Pixel phones, watches, buds and ‘much more’.
It’s hard to imagine what kind of products Google might bring among the ‘much more’. However, those who keep an eye on these technology companies may be able to imagine that the ‘Pixel 10’ flagship phone, ‘Pixel Watch 4’ and the new ‘Pixel Buds’ mye be launched at the event to be held on August 20.
It’s very easy to guess this by looking at previous ‘Made by Google’ events. Google unveiled the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Buds Pro 2 at its launch last year.
Google has hinted at what it means by "much more" in this announcement, with recent discussions suggesting that the company is working on a magnetic charging system called "PixelSnap" in response to Apple's "MagSafe" technology.
It is believed that it will include some new magnetic accessories and charging stands according to the "QI2" standard. Although Android manufacturers have lagged behind in using QI2 so far, Google's initiative could bring a new trend to the technology market, according to the report by technology site Engadget.
